You won’t believe this. It has nothing to do with spreading the gospel message, but plenty to do with strange–and getting stranger–theology.
The following is from Dr. Orrel Steinkamp’s Herescope article. Peter Wagner’s New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), has been overseeing an amazing series of pseudo-legal documents in which the “The Highest Court of the Kingdom of God” issues America the nation a divorce decree from ancient god Baal. It is sad. I just feel bad for them.
Those people think that they are so important, so superspiritual, that they are even bigger than the original apostles. They don’t speak the true Message of Jesus Christ who preached about repentance. If they would do that , than they will not be loved and to be loved by a great flock of people is what they want. They say that God have decreed them to be those spiritual leaders for the USA. Well, they can say that but have God confirmed it Himself? Obviously not. So, if I say that God have decreed me over those NAR People to be the main forerunner for the USA, who are they to question that. It is so stupid and sad at the same time
Hopefully some folks will recognize their error, God willing.
The nuts get nuttier!
As a Lutheran I can only shake my head at this stuff. Where do these pseudo-Evangelicals come up with it?
‘Divorcing Baal’ – What.??. Who and what is this Highest Court of the Kingdom of God.?. – who ordained and set this up – most assuredly it was NOT God but man. Man making covenants with God, NO, it is God who makes covenants with man – not man making covenants with God.
We indeed must be about the Father business and His business is laid out very clearly in His Word and not in IHOP, the NAR or this Highest court…
